Insurance
We are participating providers for Blue Cross Blue Shield(BCBS) and for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC). Clients with PPO plans from other insurers may be able to receive coverage for our services out of network.
As Speech-Language Pathologists, our services are covered under medical plans, not mental or behavioral health plans. Many insurance companies limit coverage for speech-language therapy to a short-term rehabilitation benefit (often 60 days) after an illness or injury. Some plans also limit coverage to particular diagnoses.
Private Pay
Although we can not accept assignment of benefits for plans other than BCBS or HPHC, we are happy to help clients obtain reimbursement by providing information and claim forms.
A payment discount is offered to those who pay privately at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, and most major credit cards.
School Contracts
School contract funding can sometimes be arranged, if services are included in a student’s IEP. CTA sometimes contracts with school systems to provide services to students with communication goals in their IEPs that the school cannot otherwise provide. In these situations, the school may decide to contract with an outside agency, such as CTA.
